Chuckie’s T-shirt
One of the benefits of having an all Jackass representation in DC.
Oh I forgot about Collins and Snowe. Well, you you know how they vote, and that guy from New Hampshire, what’s he done.

Calling All Conservative Mainers and New Englanders,
Fore and aft, port and stern the turbulence intensifies as we strap ourselves to the mast. Just as we know the earth is round we also know we orbit a stronger force. Snowe, Collins, Baldacci and all the rest of them will do the political thing. We must do the right thing. We can spend our breath talking about their inability to do the job we want them to do or we can do the job ourselves, with our own shovels. We hear them talking and know they just don’t get it…none of them, from the current crop of Democrats OR Republicans OR Whatever Else.
Our very own Vermont Woodchuck here at New England Republican has previously posted the “Ten Principles” of conservatism. Rather than party build what we need to do first is individually reaffirm and bring to life the living breathing immutable order de rerum.
We should distance ourselves from all who claim authority over us and ignite our own power. The only and best solution is to define ourselves for them. Who speaks today the “core values” which We instinctively know? Let it be Us. New Englanders are starting this resurgence movement from our generational Ground Zero so we must remember the awkward disagreements which now appear amongst us (otherwise like-minded) individuals are in reality very small potatoes in the big picture. Fortunately, conservatism is as constant as the eastern sunrise so it does not involve comtemporaneously contrived definition mutations to “solve” the latest issues as do defragmented Liberals in following their emotional rants.
Failure to act upon and communicate the higher standards which our instinct and common sense self-birth leads political opportunists to define us…
“A couple months back I suggested that Maine Senator Olympia Snowe should jump over to the Democrats. I swear the Republicans are trying their damnedest to make her do it……If Steele was conciliatory to her at the time, that quickly changed; perhaps something to do with Rush Limbaugh showing him exactly who’s boss — and how hard-line conservative you’ve got to be to keep the boss happy……After kissing Rush’s ring, Steele went on Laura Ingraham’s radio show today, and declared that he is “not backing down” from his threat to the three moderates, according to Politico. Apparently Steele said that if the state parties want to back a primary challenger, the national party will go along with them……If the party really does withhold funds from Specter, if it really does stand by while she gets called “comrade” — if the GOP really doesn’t understand that the Maine-electable moderation of Snowe and Collins are the only reason the Republicans have any voice at all in the United States federal government — well….. All I can say is I don’t know the Senator very well, but I’ve known a number of Mainers over the years, and you only have to push them so many times before they’ll make you sorry you messed with them.
So keep pushing, you brilliant Republicans!”
