Turns out Aunti Zeituni Onyango, one of Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama’s many relatives made famous in his memoir, is an illegal alien. And not just a run-of-the-mill illegal alien on welfare. [snip]Barack Obama’s aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been quietly living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned.
Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as “Aunti Zeituni” in Obama’s memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday. This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango’s case.

Jim, I urge you to do the same thing I’m going to do with regards to Obama’s refusal to produce records, documents, and information. I’m going to assume that he isn’t doing it because it will prove that he is anti-American, anti-semitic, a socialist, a marxist, an anarchist sympathizer, that he was sponsored by shady characters sympathetic with Islamic terrorist, that he is not as smart as we are lead to believe, that he got his position at Harvard through affirmative action and did not produce any writings but got his position because he was black and connected, and he is not a legal citizen. There, now the Obama crew can prove me wrong by producing the information.

I love this site. A lot of ranting and raving against things but not much about what you are for. I just scrolled the first page and could not find anything positive. All I found was ridiculous fox news commentary which is designed to ignite tensions.
You know Barack Obama is not a “Marxist” or “Socialist” as you use the word because you use the word as a swear word. But, if you mean he is for a progressive tax policy then yes, that is what he is for. And, I remind you, it is what we have had in this Country since taxes were started.
Of course, we do have regressive taxes as well which I assume you support? For example: A person making $300K per year pays far less in Social Security as a percent of income than someone making $90K per year. Is that what you support?
And just what is your solution? It can’t be “lower taxes on the rich” as that has been our policy since Reagan with a few little bumps along the way. What has that driven? An economy in ruins.
And, how about national security. The war you so love has caused a few things. First, the complete destruction of the U.S. Economy. Guns AND butter have never worked. Second, it has caused us to have to go beg for money from, guess who, the terrorist countries themselves!!
Here is what eight years of your policy has got us: A devastated economy, a complete lack of respect in the world, manufacturing jobs shipped overseas by the millions, and wars with no end.
I guess if you want more of that then by all means, vote McCain.

Kevin, I’d advise you to check your history (and not the marxoid crap produced by the likes of Howard Zinn). The Founding Fathers NEVER envisioned the kinds of “progressive” taxes that afflict us (maybe not you, if your are the beneficiary of such confiscation). In fact, the Federal Gov’t collected its revenues via tariffs, and in most every year recorded budget surplusses. It was in 1913 that the progs imposed the income tax, along with it the IRS and the ever increasing range and scope of fedgov bureaucrats interfering in our lives, as well as budget deficits for most of the years since then.
Oh, and the loss of industrial jobs? Thank your pals amongst the progs for pushing tax and regulatory laws past the point where businesses locate manufacturing outside the country, rather than put up with the nonsense of trying to build a plant here and hope that they can start builidng within FOUR years if they’re lucky and the idiot bureacrat isn’t feeling the need to really rake this evil business over the coals.
As for many on this blog “loving” war, there are many authentic veterans on this blog who KNOW what war is all about and do not want it. Given your general tenor in your post, I suspect that YOU are no real peaceful man, rather you oppose “war” for ideological reasons, especially if it involves America and the West defending itself from enemies that have made war numerous times in word and deed on us.
Interesting association of ideas. Almost unanswerable as it stands. The policies of NER led to NAFTA and globalization, wars without end (which we “love”) that have destroyed the economy without the help of our corrrosive trade policies, regressive income taxes our fault, Social Security caps our fault, foreign borr0wing to finance the welfare state expanded by both parties and all administrations since 1936 - and promised to expand even further under Obama - is the fault of one little northeastern blog. Who says we can’t make a difference?
An Obama presidency, dragging along with it its well documented history of criminal associations, racism and twisted social views, will result in an inspired movment that will evolve and which will proclaim that he, Obama, is not viewed or regarded as “the President,”or “our President.” The U.S. will be utterly and definitively divided. This will be the first significant failure of The One, the great unifier. And this explains his expressed desire for a “fully funded, national police force.” He believes that he will need it.
On the up side, we can look at the glass as being half full by viewing an Obama presidency as a sort of “political correction” in conjunction with the current and on-going “economic correction.” If Obama is elected, these “corrections” will last for the period of his term in office, however long that is, and will likely be deepened or worsened by it. That, in the end, will likely result in a better, now-wisened and educated outcome at the end of an Obama presidency.
The end of an Obama presidency will result in a great resurgence in education, and most especially in history; both U.S. and world history, since the earlier gross election mistake having been made will speak directly to our national, and general past disregard for that knowledge and those educational disciplines.

I’d like to believe that, however we are quite far down the road of having a collection of uneducated teachers, that have gone through the same processing plant, er school system, as the current college students.

Progressivism, early on, was dedicated to rationalism and pragmatism. Sounds good, and that its chief vanity…the illusion of deep thought and critical judgement. Their ranks generally wind up composed of radical idealogues and subtle nihilists with no convictions at all, but with elevated opinions of themselves.
My experience with leftists a generation ago, and I knew many, was that the whole Anarcho-Marxist-Marchuse-Radical Chic-Frankfort School crap was a form of smoking behind the barn…it gave the empty heads a thrill; they outraged their superiors/elders, and laid claim to some form of rebellious status and high ideals. This is, I think, the enduring appeal of leftism. It’s a form of snobbery.
Where’s Obama in all this. I don’t think he has any convictions at all. Traditional modes of Western thought require too much discipline and application, so he’s always more comfortable with the amorphous, near chaos of radical thinking. It doesn’t require much of a person; you can drop out and drop in to a ready-made subculture and, once you accept its ethos, you have prestige in some lofty circles.
The problem with a guy like this, as President, is that he essentially hasn’t the guts or nads to resist the wave of lefty nutjobs who will swarm into the administration. They’ll pound him like a rented mule, and they’ll get what they want…the power to infest every non-elected and appointed hive in the system.
This is the joke on those who think Obama will govern as a centrist. He’ll be team-hauled by the worst political elements in this country.

I have the only freebee the left seems to need… Instead of Obama cutting taxes for 95% of tax payers (your laugh here)… Why doesn’t he just buy that 95% a working calculator? That way they can do the math themself to find out it doesn’t add up.
