Clinton and Obama Spar Over National Security
National defense just doesn’t seem like an issue that’ll resonate with moonbat voters, but Hillary Clinton launched a new ad questioning Obama’s experience in the arena:
“It’s 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep. But there’s a phone in the White House and it’s ringing. Something’s happening in the world. Your vote will decide who answers that call.”
The Obama camp responds:
“When that call gets answered, shouldn’t the president be the one — the only one — who had judgment and courage to oppose the Iraq war from the start?” the narrator says.
So first of all, Barack responds with the wrong scenario. We’re not talking about a situation like the Iraq War where you have months to study the intelligence. And let’s be honest, if Obama had been in the Senate, yet another reminder that he’s inexperienced, he’d have made the same political calculation every other Democratic presidential contender made and supported the War. You don’t get “courage” points for opposing the Iraq War from the Illinois legislature.
And by the way, name one thing about Obama’s campaign that would make anyone think he can make the tough decisions? Selling “hope”, “change”, and a laundry list of new social programs isn’t particularly courageous. He represents the worst of cowardly politicians telling everyone what they want to hear, not what they need to hear.
But let’s not forget the former co-President of the United States. Her White House did get calls in the middle of the night. They were called on the first bombing attempt of the World Trade Center, the bombing of Khobar Towers, the bombing of the USS Cole, and a number of bombed US embassies. We didn’t get a lot of action from the Clintons as al Qaeda ramped up its attacks during the 90s though. They let the FBI endlessly investigate and engaged in a lot of hand-wringing over what they could “legally” do to Osama Bin Laden.
For all President Bush’s faults, he kept the country safe and attack free after 9/11. I don’t believe you’ll be able to make that statement in an Obama or Clinton presidency.

It’s 3:00 A.M. , the kids are sound asleep and someone’s breaking down your back door…Your spouse says:
-”I’ll call our lawyer in the morning. Go back to sleep.”
-”Intruders don’t exist. Go back to sleep.”
-”My gun!…You pick up the phone and call 911!…”
Progressivism’s only evil is individualism; with such a view there’s no room for any other kind of evil, like radical Islam. Obama is a blank slate on Islamism and nearly everything else, and the scribbles on Hillary’s tablet don’t leave me convinced, either.
