Multiculturalism exposed
From the Gates of Vienna, Fjordman posted this titled “The Flaws of the Western Man.” The whole post contains this same concise thought. I wish I had his ability to project this clarity.
I’m not graying out his work because I wish it easier to read.

What is Multiculturalism? There is probably a new Great Idea for every generation. It changes just enough for people to be duped again, but it always entails some form of large-scale change for millions of people. The less it corresponds to reality, the better. The point is to outbid others in Utopian ideas. What is behind it? Well, the joy of destroying the Established Order to bring purpose into otherwise purposeless lives and the desire to immerse oneself into grandiose ideas. The desire for personal power and the joy of being able to harass opponents shouldn’t be underestimated, either. If you claim that your Utopian ideas are about justice and equality, you can also claim that those who disagree with you are proponents of injustice and inequality, in other words evil, and outside the boundaries of civilized debate.

Minimalism at it’s finest.
One may extend this condition to global warming also.

Norway produced the incomparable Fjordman, and his old blog essays can still be found at Google. A true Renaissance Man.
Thanks, VW.
Pathetically sad, isn’t it?…
Yes. It started with Charlemagne.
charlemagne, the grandson of Charles Martel (The Hammer) who pushed the heathens out of Aquataine.
Frankly (Pun intended) he should have stayed around to deal with Suleiman before he reached Vienna.
Right, VW. I forgive you for “Frankly”, but just barely. But Charlie had big ideas and big eyes, the first real thinker, if you subtract the various megalomaniac Popes and struggles with Holy Roman This and Holy Roman That.
For some reason it’s all come down to Euro Trash at Cannes, slobbering over the suet heap Michael Moore. Pathetically sad, as Helen says.
Cannes has one or two more years to go then the festival will be films of tile designs. (No graven images)
