The Morning After

Well it looks like the Senate has gone to the Dems barring a miracle in Virginia. This will make for a very interesting 2 years leading up to the 2008 elections.

The Dems have a decision to make. Do they push the ultra liberal policies that they truly believe in and risk alienating their new found voters that elected moderate to conservative democrats or do they stake out the middle ground in hopes of consolidating their gains before 2008?

The moonbats in their base will be calling for impeachment hearings and a hard swing to the left. Will Pelosi be able to resist? If not, her position as Speaker of the House may be short lived. Only time will tell.

I have a plane to catch. I will try and post more reaction tomorrow.

Anyone that thinks the dim’s are middle of the road is a fool. They only took that position to get elected by a few dumb republicans. Today they are further left than the big fat ugly white guy and KOS.

I believe the rank and file of the Dems will be chomping at the bit to go crazy left. I also think Pelosi is smarter than most of them and will run a tight ship. According to some news stories, she was wrist slapping certain house members who were getting out of line during this campaign.

The Dems now have a real shot at the White House in 2008. Pelosi does not want to go down in 2 years as the speaker that lost it for the Dems.

That all said. They are Democrats and therefore somewhat unpredictable.
