Is the MSM hiding a story of a traitor?

This week the story broke about a CIA agent being fired for leaking secrets to a Washington Post reporter. This reporter did what reporters do, they wrote the story and published it and ran with it. A scandal was born. A scandal that was pinned on the President…. again. But a new scandal has broken out and it is being told only in the world of blogging. The MSM is desperately trying to keep this story as quiet as possible, hoping that if they don’t write anything about it, it will go away.

This time it seems as if one of their own has done some damage and the leftists, liberals and the media are circling the wagons. While the Bloggers are on top of this story the msm is playing possum.

Ms. McCarthy has been fired from the CIA for “allegedly” leaking sensitive material to a reporter. Material that could damage the President and even put others in danger. CIA director Goss investigated the allegations of a leak and everyone was to take a polygraph test. Ms. McCarthy failed. She was then fired. As the story is unfolding it seems as if the connections to Ms McCarthy is a story in its own right. It seems as if the connections of Ms McCarthy are quite amazing. No wonder the MSM is so quiet on this story.

The blog Flopping Aces has a most comprehensive post of the connections between Ms. McCarthy, the democratic party, John Kerry, Sandy Burger, Joe Wilson and Richard Clark et al. The connections are astonishing in their scope. All under the umbrella of the Clinton administration.

The media has been pretty quiet over this breech, instead, fixating on gas prices and bad weather. It seems that they are going to avoid this story at all costs. Does one think that if the media could pin this leak on Bush that they would be as silent? I think not.

The democrats are circling their wagons. Kerry has said that even though he does not believe that the CIA should be leaking stories he feels that Ms McCarthy was right to do what she did because she was bringing to light something that was wrong. Once again Kerry is for something yet against the same thing. Once a flip flopper…. well you know the rest.

This points to a deep flaw in the democratic party that shows me and many Americans why they can not vote for the democratic party and why the democratic party keeps losing at the polls. Their deep hatred for the President and their lust for power overshadows the safety of the American people. The politicians like Kerry would rather rally around an “alleged” traitor like McCarthy and all those connected to her, than show any support for the President and the military.

Will this scandal ultimately be swept under the rug or will it come to light? Will the MSM keep hiding behind gas prices or will they step up to the plate and start reporting on this story? Will the bloggers prevail over the MSM and keep this story on the front burner and will the MSM realize that they have been scooped … again? Who is going to connect the dots? The MSM or the bloggers?
