When leftists attack
They attack full force and it ain’t pretty by any stretch of the imagination. Michelle Malkin has been keeping up with a story on the UC Santa Cruz vs the Military issue. The students of the college have done everything in their power.. especially threats and intimidation… to get the military off their campus.. and stopping the military from speaking freely to students of the school. When Michelle Malkin published their flyer… as is… a few leftists… who hate anyone who is racist in anyway… let fly with vile racist posts against Michelle. This shows everyone that while they mouth platitudes and support towards minorities they will be the first ones to make sure that they put any minority in their place if that minority disagrees with their opinion. Scary
http://www.michellemalkin.com/
The kind of emails that she has received are incredible in their anger and racism. While these very same people criticize the President for eroding everyone’s civil liberties they themselves are proving that they are much worse at violating anyone’s rights even more than the President ever could. The irony of that just flies over their heads.
Once again this shows me that the liberal left continues to battle with the fringe lunatics and I can’t support a party that embraces this kind of vicious rhetoric. That they can’t see their own anti-americanism is amazing to anyone with two working brain cells.

Picking a few people out of a crowd, assuming they are left wing democrats, and represent a bigger whole of the Democratic Party is absurd. This woman posted the names of the people who spoke against her opinion on her site, and now the students names an addresses she listed are now receiving death threats. This is a pointless topic, that serves no point, and shows again how Republicans bring up a few social issues every month, that really don’t matter, that they know will appeal to their core voters. Some of the top schools in the country, Harvard to mention one, don’t allow military recruiters on their campuses. Most of the time these recruiters are pushy, invasive, and ask anyone in the military, they promise you the world to get you to sign the paper. I know when I’m at college, the last thing I want to be is solicited by someone that’s trying to pitch something to me.
Uh, no, tony, you are completely ignorant of the facts of the matter here. You could read here if you want to actually know what you are talking about before you post.
No, she did not post “names of the people who spoke against her opinion on her site”, she REPRINTED the names and addresses, which had been posted on their own site, of students who started a small riot to eject recruiters who were lawfully and with the University’s permission conducting interviews with students who wanted to come in on their own and speak with them about joining the military service.
These people are thugs and bullies and they need to be exposed. They imposed mob rule over the rule of law, then they posted their names and phone numbers bragging about it. See my post for the URL for their site. Michelle Malkin provided info so that anyone who wished to could contact them and rebut them.
Its coming out now that leftists are the ones making fake death threats so they can hype it up to blame on Michelle’s readers. And gullible, uninformed people like you are their targets.
Don’t be gullible and weak. Read the facts before you speak or post comments.

Comment removed because Tony doesn’t have the intelligence to debate an issue without resorting to name calling.
While I think the tactics of the protesters were despicable, I was a bit troubled by those who wanted to invoke the Soloman Amendment to deny this school its federal funding. It appeared that the school took a number of measures to give the recruiters a chance to set up shop and it was the initiative of individual students and attendant organizations to attempt to prevent their doing so, a move the school condemned. Thus people like O’Reilly want to punish the school and the vast majority of students who took no part in this nonsense.
My guess is the school probably could have done a better job of providing security. To avoid any Solomon amendment issues they should have the recruiters back on with sufficient security and arrest any idiot who disrupts it.
ditto NER
I made a similar point in an update to my post on the matter above
I disagree. Protesting is not a crime. Violence, slashing tires, etc etc…these are crimes and should be treated as such. But these idiots are their own worst enemies, and within reasonable limits we need to let them dig their own graves.
and tony.. sadly.. its not picking a few people out of a crowd… over and over you can check out any leftist or liberal site.. and read the same vicious rhetoric about anyone that does not agree with them. Even your post that was deleted shows exactly what I and others are talking about. The irony of your post being deleted because of name calling is truly delicious. Thanks for proving me and others here.. .right!!
Protesting is not a crime… but when the protesters violate others civil liberties… ie freedom of speech just to name one… then they are committing a crime. These people cry that their civil liberties are being violated by the President.. and they turn around and do the very same thing!! Useful idiots.
Anoncon,
I didn’t mean to imply that protesting was a crime. They can peacefully protest all they want. But when they resort to mob rule and attempt to use force to remove the recruiters they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
I don’t doubt for a second that a group of pro-life protestors forcing their way into an abortion clinic would be arrested.
The moderator on this site officially operates like our country’s leaders do, oppress and silence anyone with an opposing opinion. Thanks nice to know this site allows for arguments from both sides.
Tony, If I were the fascist you seem to think I am I would have removed all of your comments and banned you from leaving any future ones.
Could you tell me how your comment added to a civil debate in anyway? Here it is word for word in full:
“Missed my point totally, you’re a moron, I refuse to waste my time repeating myself.”
That was your exact quote. Your welcome to continue posting your opinion whether I agree with it or not. That comment wasn’t an opinion, it was an insult. If you don’t like the rules, you can take your ball and go home.
By the way, can you name one example where this administration has “oppressed and silenced” you or any other liberal? Because where I’m standing I can’t find a single one of you that is afraid to speak his mind.
I could waste my time naming pleanty, the guy above called me ignorent, are you going to remove his post, no becasue you agree with what he said, point proven, the only reason I come on this site anyway is to laugh at your opinions and get all your panties in bunches…
For the record Tony, you called someone an idiot in another comment and I left it alone because at least you made some other points. In the comment I removed, you didn’t attempt to make any points.
As for your answer to my question:
“I could waste my time naming pleanty”
Funny that’s the response I always get. Come on, can’t you name just one person? I’m sure you can spare a few minutes enlightening us.
How about you name any person who holds a top 20 spot in the White House, and I’ll show you a fascist close-minded oppressor. It’s easy to see, they don’t even take advice from their experts, let alone some nobody voter like me.
Come on Tony, prove me wrong and show us you are capable of intelligent debate. Your still dodging the question. You said:
“The moderator on this site officially operates like our country’s leaders do, oppress and silence anyone with an opposing opinion.”
Here is the question once again:
Can you name one example where this administration has “oppressed and silenced” you or any other liberal?
Because where I’m standing I can’t find a single one of you that is afraid to speak his mind.
The fact that Seymour Hersch still has a column even though he betrays national security secrets on a regular basis is proof that this administration has neither the means nor the resolve to silence dissent.
Look at the case that’s going on right now with Mr. Libby, President Bush and Dick Cheney both conspired to ruin this man, (Joseph C. Wilson) and possibly get his wife killed, just because he tried to show the American people how they were twisting facts to promote their false war. Just because his opinion opposed theirs. And really, I wouldn’t even call it a difference of opinion; I’d just call it recognition of the facts. Which you and your entire party are guilty of not doing. At ever bend and every corner this administration has seized every opportunity to gain more power over the other branches of Gov’t. They have a clear lack of regard to the constitution. With the illegal NSA spying program is oppression on all Americans. Need an example better than that?
That’s absolute nonsense. Joe Wilson is scruple-free. A number of revelations in recent days have confirmed that Iraq did have such contacts with Niger. He risked his wife’s identity with an editorial in the Times, and while the person who leaked it should probably be dismissed he is no victim.
I doubt you evidenced the same indignation when your colleagues on the Left outed deep-cover spies expressly to undermine the intelligence community. The same people who spent decades destroying our HumInt capabilities were vociferous in arguing that 9/11 should have been foreseen and that the pre-Iraq intelligence should have been better.
You are guilty of the partisanship that you ascribe to this site’s writers and commenters. Republicans make mistakes and Democrats do too. Reasonble people can disagree as to what constitutes a mistake. Nonetheless blindly following the dictates of your own party or worse, blindly opposing everything put forth by the opposing party, is detrimental to this nation and to its security.
“Need an example better than that?”
Well actually yes, how about an example that is based on actual facts rather than conspiracy theory nonsense?
Joe Wilson has been a liar about his mission since day one. Even if that weren’t the case, he is a very bad example for you to pick. If he is so oppressed and silenced how come I still see him on television freely giving his opinions?
So once again I ask, can you name one example where this administration has “oppressed and silenced” you or any other liberal?
Because from where I’m standing I can’t find a single one of you that is afraid to speak his mind.
Get his wife killed? Oh yeah, she’s obviously been in constant danger, what with doing Vanity Fair photoshoots and making the rounds of talkshows and lefty wingnut parties. Other than that she’s been as undercover as Rushdie.
We all know how international spies are hot to kill low-level paperpushers.
Read my rather extensive roundup of information about the subject on which you pontificate sans actual facts.
Heh, almost got Wilson’s wife killed. That actually made me laugh out loud. Yeah, Joe Wilson actually had to go off TV for five minutes, the heat was on so hot.
He and his wife are about as underground as Brad and Angelina.
my point is, all these polititions appointed by the republican party are all going down. Every day I wake up and wait to see who’s next. Do you know how scientists know where a black hole is in space? You can’t see it with a telescope since it’s the absence of light. They look at the direction the stars around the black hole are moving, and it points to the black hole. Get it? It seems like everday one of your “conservative” friends goes down in flames.
oh and another thing about “conspiracy theories”, just because you accuse a polition of abusing his power doesn’t make it a conspiracy theory. Our founding fathers set up our gov’t based on distrusting the very politians who are elected. What’s worse, assuming someone’s doing something wrong, and then it turns out they are right, or assuming someone’s doing something right, and really they are wrong?
Tony, I have tried to have an intelligent conversation with you but I give up. Your comments are full of accusations but short on facts. Now you are trying to compare politicians to black holes and your last comment on conspiracy theories was incomprehensible.
If you make accusations without any supporting evidence, it is a conspiracy theory. Plain and simple. Joe Wilson has been proven to be a liar yet you still cite him as your evidence.
You still haven’t answered my simple question so I’m going to stop wasting my time. You haven’t answered it because once again you have no evidence to back up your accusations.
Also, you’ll notice that I haven’t moderated any of your comments during this discussion. So, do I still silence dissent? Of course not, though I disagree with you, I have left your comments alone because you refrained from insulting me.
Your welcome to continue commenting but for now I will let the above string of comments speak for themselves.
the black hole was a metaphor… i guess it went strait over… everything i have said has went strait over your head… obviously no-one here watches television or reads the newspapers or any form of media out there to see that this country is being run by criminals. when a president and his administration are being compared to Nixon’s, you know something’s wrong. history will speak for itself. 4-5 years from now it will be clear to everyone, not just us. and i won’t even have to say i told you so. i really wish i were detached from reality, it’d be a much happier state of mind, ignorance is bliss…
